Portfolio Data: Information about your precious metals holdings that you manually enter (metal type, weight, quantity, purchase price, acquisition date)

3.2 Automatically Collected Data

Anonymous User ID: A randomly generated identifier to associate your portfolio data with your device
Device Information: Basic device type (iOS/Android) for app functionality
App Usage: Anonymous analytics to improve app performance (via Firebase Analytics)

3.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

Your name, email address, or contact information (unless you contact us directly)
Your location data
Your contacts or photos
Any financial account information

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

Display and track your precious metals portfolio
Calculate portfolio values using current market prices
Sync your portfolio data across devices (if you use the same account)
Improve app performance and fix bugs

5. Data Storage and Security

Your portfolio data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore)
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
Data is encrypted at rest on Firebase servers
We use Firebase's security rules to ensure only you can access your data

Upon deletion request, all your portfolio data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Our app is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
